For Accem
Hate me is a social experiment that fights against hate inside and outside of social networks.
We created the profile of the Western White Man (with the collaboration of the actor Jorge Suquet, and the photographer Félix Valiente) on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. Over the months we were analyzing the hate tendencies, and when these changed, our Western White Man changed too, becoming a person of the affected group.
To raise funds, we developed a communication product, The Calendar of Hate, which collects Jorge’s spectacular transformations over the months, and with whose download you collaborate in this Accem project.
In addition to the presentation event, and the digital and social campaign, we interviewed five people from some of the most affected groups, in order to share their stories and raise awareness that the hate spread on social networks affects real people.
